TIBS Risk Management - Operational Risk Engine

TIBS Operational Risk Engine (ORE) is one of the three Risk Engines of TIBS Risk Management. The major function of the engine is to support the measurement of potential loss that due to the inadequate management of operations. It supports event reporting and reviewing, quantification of operational risk - the 'OpVaR' estimation, as well as data analysis with data mining and statistical analysis to support the identification of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) for monitoring the operation performance.

TIBS ORE supports Capital Adequacy Calculation based on the Basel II requirements, which include Basic Indicator Approach, Standardized Approach, and Advanced Measurement Approach (AMA). It provides statistical analysis tools to support the estimation of LF (Loss Frequency), LS (Loss Severity), and LGE (Loss Given Event) from historical data for users who opt to use AMA.
